The heartbeat of First Baptist Church is to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to Mount Orab and the world. We offer classes to train men, women, and young people so that they can be equipped to share God’s Word. We also have opportunities where our members are challenged to share the gospel, that the unsaved might come to know Jesus as Savior. It is our desire, as a church, that every member be equipped to share their faith and saturate our community with the love of Christ.
We also want to intentionally serve God on mission, building the Kingdom of God. Our church’s vision is to present everyone mature in Christ (Colossians 1:28). We are striving to prepare every member to be a missionary locally, some nationally, and some may be called to serve internationally. Wherever they serve, it will be for the purpose of reaching people for His Kingdom. We look forward to serving the Lord with you!
